(Sunnyside Post) Sunnyside residents will have a selection of up 50 flavors of chicken wings when Korean restaurant chain Pelicana Chicken opens its second New York location tonight at 47-08 Greenpoint Avenue.
The restaurant will open at 5 p.m., offering not only a wide selection of chicken, but other offerings, including ice cream beer floats and cheese fries.
Pelicana was first opened in 1982 in Korea, and now has over 3,000 locations throughout the world. However, there are only three locations in the United States, one in Flushing, one in Palisades Park, NJ, and now one in Sunnyside.
The Flushing location of the restaurant is highly rated on Yelp, with customers raving about the food and drink selection.
The owner, Julie Kim, also operates the Flushing location, and will offer an identical menu in Sunnyside.
The restaurant has 46 seats and 21 tables. It will be open from 12 p.m. until midnight seven days per week. It will also deliver.
