K-FOOD VIDEO CONTEST 2024

THEME: “Jang” – Korean Fermented Seasonings

K-Food uses many ingredients and seasonings to achieve its unique flavors. “Jang” is fermented seasoning, such as doenjang (soybean paste), gochujang (red pepper paste), and ganjang (soy sauce). For the 2024 K-Food Video Contest, share your stories about using Jang in your favorite dish.

[ENTRY RULES]

All video entries must be uploaded via the online form at  https://kfoodinus.com/2024-k-food-video-contest/  or by posting your video on your Facebook or Instagram account along with hashtag in the same post with your video: #KFoodStory24. The video entry must meet all contest requirements to be eligible to win a prize. Entries which do not comply with the rules, requirements, and specifications herein will be disqualified. One entry per person. Any attempt to circumvent the rules will result in disqualification from the Contest.

Rules:

Share a short (2-3 minutes) original creative video about Korean Jang! Tell us about your experience cooking with “Jang”. What type of “Jang” is your favorite and what do you love about it? What is your favorite dish made with “Jang”? Be creative! All qualifying video submissions will be posted on KFoodinUS Instagram and Facebook. The video with the most “LIKES” and “HEARTS” on Facebook and Instagram combined will win cash & prizes! (1 like or 1 heart = 1 vote)

Video Submission Period:

May 17th, 2024 12:00 AM ET – June 21st, 2024 11:59 PM ET

Online Voting Period:

June 24th, 2024, 9:00 AM ET – July 10th, 2024 11:59 PM ET

Prizes:

1st Place: $1,000 + Prizes
2nd Place: $500 + Prizes
3rd Place: $250 + Prizes
*All entrants will receive K-Food goodies

Winner Announcement:

Videos will go live on KFood in US Social Media Pages from June 24, 2024 9AM ET – July 10th, 2024, for public voting
Top 3 winners will be contacted by email on July 12th, 2024
Virtual Award Ceremony is TBD (NOTE: Entrant must be present to win)

Submissions & Requirements:

Entry must be an original video that is 2-3 minutes in length
Limit: One entry per person
Entries can be posted on the entrant’s social media account using the hashtag #KoreanJang24, #Kfoodvideocontest24, #KfoodinUS. To enter the contest, video entries MUST be submitted through https://kfoodinus.com/2024kfoodvideocontest.
Entrants must complete the registration form in full with your video submission to qualify for the contest.
Entries can be posted by no later than 11:59 PM ET on June 21st, 2024 (no exceptions)
Open to legal residents of the United States of America who are 18 years old or older at the time of video submission. Entrants’ submission must include a valid photo ID, mailing address, email and phone number. Information in the required registration form will be verified. If the registration information is incorrect or incomplete, or if a winner does not respond within 48 hours of notification, that prize will go to the next entry with the most “LIKES” and “HEARTS”.

On behalf of KFoodinUS, Gimga Design Group reserves the right to disqualify any contest submission with inappropriate content as well as any contest submission not conforming to the published rules of the contest and/or meeting the video requirements at any time. In the event of a tie, Gimga Design Group will break the tie based on the following criteria: Creativity/Originality (30 pts), Message Content (i.e. address of the theme “KFoodJang” and its compelling value based on judge’s discretion) (50 pts) and Technical Organization (i.e. sound and picture quality, editing, adherence to the time limit of 3 minutes) (20pts).
