Sool: Korean Traditional Liquor

In honor of 2020 NGA Winter Meeting, a reception with Sool, a Korean Traditional Liquor, was held at the Korean Ambassador’s residence.

Ambassador Lee hosted 28 US governors who came to DC to attend the annual winter meeting of the National Governors’ Association. The event showcased the important US-ROK trade relationship and included exhibits of hydrogen-powered vehicles from Hyundai and the latest HDTVs from Samsung and LG. It also featured tastings of an exclusive selection of traditional Korean liquors (Takju, Yakju, Soju, and Gwasilju) flown in for the occasion.
