Samgye-tang (Gingseng Chicken Soup): This dish is made by braising young, whole chicken filled with ginseng, jujube, chestnut, glutinous rice and garlic.
As a healthy and balanced dish made with chicken and ginseng, this dish–along with yukgaejang (spicy beef soup)–is the Korean dish that is representative of health in the summer.
