Korean Banana Latte
What is it?
A Banana Milk Latte is a sweet, creamy drink made by combining banana-flavored milk — often using the iconic Korean Binggrae Banana Milk — with a shot of espresso or strong brewed coffee. It’s a playful fusion drink that tastes like dessert in a cup and is popular in cafés and home kitchens alike.
Ingredients (1 serving)
- 1 bottle (approx. 240ml / 8 oz) Banana Milk (like Binggrae)
- 1–2 shots Espresso (or 50ml strong brewed coffee)
- Ice (if serving cold)
- Optional: Vanilla syrup, cinnamon powder, steamed milk for extra creaminess
Instructions
Iced Banana Milk Latte
- Fill a glass with ice.
- Pour in one bottle of banana milk.
- Slowly pour the espresso shots over the milk to create a beautiful layered look.
- Optionally, drizzle with vanilla syrup or sprinkle cinnamon on top.
- Stir before drinking or serve as-is for visual effect.
Hot Banana Milk Latte
- Gently warm the banana milk in a saucepan (do not boil).
- Pour into a mug.
- Add 1–2 shots of freshly brewed espresso.
- Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a little steamed milk if desired.
- Stir and enjoy warm!
Tip:
- For stronger coffee flavor, use 2 shots of espresso.
- For a smoother texture, blend the banana milk and coffee together with ice.
- For a dessert twist, top with whipped cream and a banana slice.
- Great as a fun Korean café-style drink for brunch or an afternoon pick-me-up.
