What’s Your Kimchi Story?

Winner Announcement

• Videos will go live on K-Food in US Social Media Pages October 1, 2021 – October 6, 2021, for public voting

• Grand Prize and runner up prizes will be contacted on October 7, 2021

• Virtual Awards Ceremony on October 11, 2021, at 6:00 PM EST

 

Submissions* & Requirements

• Entry must be an original video that is no more than 3 minutes long

• Limit one entry per person

• Entries must be posted on the entrant’s social media account using hashtag #MYKFOODSTORY2021 but MUST BE submitted on our online form on www.kfoodinus.com, which must be completed in full with your video upload to enter the contest

• ALL submissions MUST include a fully completed registration form

• Submissions must be posted by no later than 11:59 PM (MIDNIGHT) EST on September 30, 2021 (no exceptions)

• Open to legal residents of the United States of America who are 18 years old or older. This information will be verified in the registration document that is required for submission. If the information is incorrect or the winner does not respond within 48 hours of notification, the prize will go to the next entry with the most “LIKE”. **

1. Create, film, and edit your creative Kimchi story 

2. Upload your video to Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube using the hashtag #MYKFOODSTORY2021 between September 1, 2021 12:00 AM EST and September 30, 2021 11:59 PM EST

3. Entrants MUST submit the video using the online form on www.kfoodinus.com between September 1, 2021 12:00 AM EST – September 30, 2021 11:59 PM EST 

4. All submissions* will be posted on the Korean Food in US Facebook and the kfoodinus Instagram on October 1, 2021 between 9:00 AM EST and 10:00 AM EST, tagging the original artist. If the artist/contestant does not have a social media account we will give them credit in the caption.

5. Winners will be announced and contacted on October 7, 2021 and the virtual awards ceremony will be on October 11, 2021! The video with the most combined “LIKE” and “LOVE” on the KFoodinUS Facebook and Instagram by October 6, 2021 12:00 PM (noon) EST, will be the Grand Prize Winner!**

 

* Gimga Design Group LLC is the official contest management entity. On behalf of KFoodinUS, Gimga Design Group reserves the right to disqualify any contest submission with inappropriate content as well as any contest submission not conforming to the published rules of the contest and/or meeting the video requirements at any time.

** In the event of a tie, Gimga Design Group will break the tie based on the following criteria: Creativity/Originality (30 pts), Message Content (i.e. address of the theme “My K-Food Story with Kimchi” and its compelling value based on judge’s discretion) (50 pts) and Technical Organization (i.e. sound and picture quality, editing, adherence to a time limit of 3 minutes) (20pts).
