The House of Delegates, the Senate concurring, and the General Assembly designated November 22, in 2022 and in each succeeding year, as Kimchi Day in Virginia.
Delegate, Irene Shin, along with aT Korea, hosted a celebratory reception following the passage of HJ147 during the 2022 Legislative Session, at the Hyatt Regency in Tysons Corner, VA. Councilmember, Anita Bonds announced that Washington, D.C. will be passing Kimchi Day for the 2022 legislative season during the program at this event.
